Senior Manager, Academic Transfer & Articulation LeCroy Center
Responsible for Builds and expands constructive, collaborative, and trusting relationships and partnerships both internally and externally. Collaborates with diverse multi-cultural constituents and stakeholders within Dallas College, to ensure consistency in transfer partnership agreements and the development of transfer pathways and training related/necessary Dallas College personnel. Support internal stakeholders within Academic Services, Student Success, Workforce and Development at Dallas College in achieving desired outcomes of increased student enrollment, success, completion, and transfer. Identify resources and tools to support and improve productivity of transfer partnerships, partnership agreements and transfer pathways, defining levels of accountability for the position. Maintain high level of understanding of the rules and regulations promulgated by the Texas Education Code, THECB, and SACSCOC as they relate to academic transfer and articulation to consider optimal solutions for Dallas College students. Ensure business goals are achieved by applying business strategies and developing organizational objectives. Requires a dynamic understanding of relevant laws and policies and the ability to independently analyze problems, search for strategic solutions, organize and influence individuals to meet the vision, mission and goals of the organization and Dallas College. Ensure operations function to promote diversity and professional growth.
Senior Manager, Alternative Credit Programs LeCroy Center
Responsible for collaboration and communication with academic stakeholders (Vice Provosts, Deans, Dept. Chairs, and faculty), Institutional Effectiveness, and Student Success leaders to review, recommend and revise policies and practices related to Competency-Based Education (CBE) and Prior Learning Assessment (PLA). Support academic stakeholders, the Academic Incubator, and Workforce and Advancement leaders in identifying and designing appropriate assessment instruments used to evaluate students' prior learning, aligning them with the outcomes and content of Dallas College courses. May be responsible for the management of centralized Alternative Credit Program functions focused on improving the quality of the Dallas College student experience in PLA or CBE. This includes continuous improvement efforts with enrollment management, faculty support, student success, as well as monitoring and tracking students pursuing PLA or CBE. Ensure business goals are achieved by applying business strategies and developing organizational objectives. Manages all career-connected learning strategies for the Schools by ensuring alignment and integration with other divisions and internal and external partners
Coordinator, Multicultural Affairs (DACA, Dreamer, International, ALANA, or LGBTQ+ Student Support) Mountain View, Various locations
The Multicultural Student Services Program Coordinator serves a resource for a specific student population (i.e., DACA/Dreamers, International, ALANA, LGBTQ+) by assisting them with their unique personal, social, academic, and financial concerns. This includes outreach and advocacy on behalf of DACA, Dreamer, International, ALANA, and LGBGTQ+ students by working to ensure that they feel supported and assisting them with gaining access to campus and community resources. Program Coordinators work collaboratively to plan, implement, and assess cultural awareness and social justice education programs designed to promote an inclusive campus climate. The Program Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the access, persistence, retention, and success of all students from historically underrepresented communities.
