Career Skills Development Specialist Various locations
The Career Skills Development Specialist will provide comprehensive employment and career planning services to Dallas College students, ensuring they can effectively plan for part-time employment opportunities while enrolled at Dallas College. As a result, students will fulfill career readiness and job placement while at the institution. The Career Skills Development Specialist must take the initiative and be a self-starter related to increasing and maintaining student engagement, career readiness, job placement, tracking, reporting, and assessment: • Support students throughout their academic journey by creating career preparation plans, exploring and choosing a Career Pathway and program, supporting resource materials and skills (resume creation and editing, interview coaching, networking, etc.), soft skill development, as well as job, internship, externship, apprenticeship exploration and placement. • Support students in providing programming, resources, and services that develop student skills to access, navigate, and compete for workplace learning successfully and career opportunities. • Responsible for delivering high-quality career support services, including resume development, interview coaching, personal brand development, application to internships, and job placement of eligible students. • Facilitates the development of marketable skills, such as negotiating salaries, networking, personal branding, and other skills that support successful career development and job placement. • Collaborates with a broad career-connected network of internal and external partners to leverage resources and supports that eliminate barriers and promote effective career skill development for Dallas College students. • Leverages technology to monitor and track initiatives focused on student career skill development and job placement according to objectives. • Coordinates career and job fairs that lead to the employment of current eligible students
Senior Manager of Development District Office
The Senior Manager of Development will work with and report to the Senior Director of Development at Dallas College Foundation to ensure the fundraising success for Dallas College. They will assist with individual and foundation donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship on behalf of Dallas College. Specifically, this position assists with donor outreach, including scheduling and preparing for donor meetings, managing fundraising events, monitoring and documenting activity in the donor database, and other activities necessary to successfully raise funds and steward donors for strategic and high-value Dallas College initiatives.

Provides clerical and student intake support to the organization that includes but is not limited to front desk duties, triaging…. Assist students with navigating our student information system and other related technology. Supports the work of the department, daily operations and provides front facing duties. Contributes to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds. Remains knowledgeable and current by attending professional development courses and software training classes as directed by the organization. Assists others in meeting deadlines for various tasks and projects as required such as call campaigns and other related initiatives. Understands and adheres to all district policies and procedures. Supports assigned administrator and department staff for the purpose of providing assistance with clerical functions. Excellent communication skills both orally and written, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population. Performs other duties as assigned.

Facilities Maintenance Service Technician I Various locations
The Dallas College Facilities Management Department supports the facility needs for Dallas College while providing responsible stewardship and efficient operation of the College's physical assets. The Facilities Management Department is responsible for approximately 5,000,000 sq. ft. of physical space and over 1400 acres of land, located across multiple locations in Dallas County. The position of Facilities Maintenance Service Technician supports that effort through the performance of skilled maintenance functions.
